Cancelling & Returns
As all items are made to order, an order can only be cancelled if manufacture has not commenced; it is therefore important to contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have made a mistake with the order as we cannot issue a full refund after manufacture has has commenced. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct item is being ordered and that it meets the exact requirements of it’s intended purpose. Newark Copper Cylinder Co. Ltd. will not take any responsibility for incorrectly, or inaccurately ordered items. All of our products are manufactured to order and, as a result, we cannot accept returns unless the product is faulty or has not been manufactured to the agreed specification.
Made to order items can only be returned if there is a manufacturing defect or damage was occasioned during transit and can either be fully refunded or repaired free of charge.
Spares and components are a stock item and therefore can be returned and refunded if returned within 7 days.
Orders are mostly processed and manufactured the same working day and all items are shipped via 24 hour courier for delivery the following day. Depending on the time of order and the nature of the item this delivery time may be extended but customers will be advised of this.
If the item is damaged, do not sign for the delivery and inform us as soon as possible as the unit will have to be returned to us and we can file a claim against the courier company and correct the issue.
All items must be signed for or left in a safe place at your discretion. If the courier cannot deliver and a safe place has not been designated you may be subject to redelivery charges. Should goods left in a designated safe place be stolen or damaged we regret that we can not be held responsible.
Goods cannot be exported, but can be delivered to an address from which you can arrange export at your own expense and risk if you require the item to be shipped abroad.
All orders made in the UK are subject to its current rate of VAT at 20% which is added on during the checkout stage and is charged to your card as part of the total order.
Payments made online are processed securely through either Worldpay or Paypal. Our online store does not store any credit card details and uses a secure connection to ensure your payment is secure.
Card details from payments made over the phone are stored temporarily and then destroyed. You will receive a card receipt in the post.
All our units come with a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defect. The warranty can only be claimed if a valid proof of purchase can be presented.
The warranty for components is equivalent to that given by the manufacturer of 12 months.
In all cases we will require the unit, spare or component be returned to us in order that we can verify the validity of a warranty claim.
If the warranty claim is upheld then all carriage costs will be reimbursed.
